──Usage Instructions──

To check eSIM availability, dial "*#06#". If a barcode or text showing EID appears, it indicates that your phone supports eSIM functionality.
Billing starts upon activation of the SIM card and is valid for the selected number of days. For example, if the SIM card is activated at 23:59, that day counts as one day of usage. For a 5-day plan: if activated on August 1 at 10:00 am, it can be used until August 5 at 23:59 pm.

Installing QR code on mobile:
- iOS phone settings: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use mobile barcode → (Scan directly) If using iOS 17 or above, you can select "Open Photos" to choose the existing QR code image on your phone → Continue → Complete.

Upon arrival at the travel destination:
- iOS phone settings: Settings → Cellular → Turn on cellular data option → Enable data roaming → Complete.
- Android phone settings: Settings → Wireless & networks → Turn on mobile network → Enable data roaming → Complete.

──After-Sales Return and Exchange Policy──

- This product can be refunded for free before use and before picking up the card at the airport.
- If changing the departure date, the card can be picked up at the airport after placing the order, either before or after the original departure. The eSIM can be used within 180 days after receiving the email QR code.
- If you have arrived at your destination and are unable to use it due to phone settings/model/connection issues, please connect to local Wi-Fi and contact Cool Travel Card customer service. Refund requests will not be accepted if customer service is not contacted.
- The return manual processing takes about 3 to 5 business days. Once the refund process begins, the payment bank will be notified for automatic refund, which takes about 7 to 14 business days (excluding holidays). The actual refund time depends on the issuing bank's processing.

Q. 可以插卡在Wi-Fi分享器嗎?
A. 建議不要插入Wi-Fi分享器,因無法保證正常運作。若因而導致無法正常上網,恕不受理賠償,且Wi-Fi分享器容易因瞬間流量過大,抵觸國外FUP(公平使用原則),可能導致無法正常上網。

Q. 我的手機可以用酷遊卡嗎?
A. 目前市面大部分手機皆應可使用酷遊卡實體SIM。
但不包含非手機類(不知名平板、翻譯機、網路分享器)、特殊規格的手機(山寨機、電信商自營品牌之手機、鎖卡機、SHARP手機、堅果手機、Sugar手機、LG手機、SAMSUNG Galaxy J7系列、HTC u11系列、SAMSUNG A51系列...等上述裝置)
eSIM使用可用撥號按鍵撥打「*#06#」,如出現 EID 的條碼或文字,表示您的手機支援 eSIM 功能。

Q. 雙卡機可以使用酷遊卡嗎?
A. 可以。請將酷遊卡放入SIM1(卡槽1)中,且將SIM2(卡槽2)清空,重新開機後即可使用。

Q. 酷遊卡可以打電話嗎?
A. 酷遊卡僅提供網路連線功能,不可以使用撥打市話/手機功能。如有需求,您可以透過Line/What'sAPP/Wechat/Kakao talk…等通訊軟體撥打通話,或是透過Skype撥打網路電話。

Q. 可以在台灣/飛機上插卡嗎?
A. 不可以,請抵達旅遊當地再插卡。
如在台灣或是飛機上先行插卡,會導致卡片無法正常連網使用。
如用eSIM可在出發國先安裝好,抵達旅遊地開啟就可連網使用。

Q. 出國日期和地點要更改,可以退/換貨嗎?
A. 機場取卡:可於取到實體卡後在360天內使用,不需設定延後。如購買國家地點不符合,未取卡前可免費取消。
eSIM需在取得Qrcode後180天內使用。如購買國家地點不符合,使用前可免費取消。

Q. 到當地機場插卡了,為什麼不能上網?
A. 請開啟飛航模式2~5分鐘後,再重新開啟行動數據。並確認插卡地是否為地下室、建築物深處、訊息遮蔽處或任何無收訊格數之地點。因某些機廠訊號遮蔽較嚴重、或因同時大量旅客同時連網,導致基地台反應較慢,可離開機場後在測試看看。

Q. 要怎麼設定/開啟漫遊上網?
A. 先關閉飛航模式、關閉Wi-Fi後執行以下操作:
【iOS系統】→開啟行動數據→行動數據選項→開啟漫遊
【Android系統】→開啟行動網路→開啟數據漫遊

Q. 要怎麼設定APN?
A. 酷遊卡隨插即可用,換卡後重新開機即可;eSIM安裝後即可用,無須設定APN。

Q. 為什麼收訊很差? 訊號時有時無?
A. 漫遊收訊以當地電信基地台覆蓋率為準。
通常在建築物地下室、地鐵站地下室、建築物深處、隧道、四周無人工建築空曠處、偏僻處、高山、湖泊、海邊…等地的收訊會較差,與卡片效能無關。可在離開上述收訊較差之地點後再觀察測試。

  • - If the data usage exceeds the specified limit of the product, the connection will be cut off or the speed will be reduced (below 256 kbps) depending on the specifications.
  • - Actual signal and connection speeds may vary due to factors such as region, terrain, climate, building obstructions, number of users, network systems, or terminal devices. If the local area or phone does not support 4G networks, it will automatically switch to 3G signals. Additionally, different frequency bands supported by the device will result in different internet speeds, and refunds cannot be requested due to signal conditions in a few areas. In cases of network instability, disconnection, or unavailability due to force majeure events such as earthquakes or typhoons, refunds or exchanges are not permitted.
