When the owner first tasted the miso and was moved, [MISO 18 Months] started and opened in Yoyogi. In 2021, the entrance of the store, which was renovated to commemorate its 7th anniversary, is decorated with a large "miso barrel" donated by the brewery, soothing visitors with the lingering aroma of miso and the warmth of wood. Regardless of genre, such as "Oden" which has many repeat customers and "Carbonara" made with white miso, all of the miso dishes born from the pursuit of deliciousness are all delicious. The miso used here is a live, naturally fermented miso, delivered straight from Masuzuka Miso Brewery in Aichi and aged in traditional wooden barrels. This premium miso is exclusively used at MISO 18-Kagetsu and is also available for purchase by weight.
Seasonal fish is sourced fresh from Himi, Toyama, and pairs perfectly with our miso-based creations.
Our sake lineup is curated from breweries across Japan, with a special spotlight on “Houraisen” from Aichi — fruity, refined, and the top favorite among our guests. Limited-edition and rare sake are also available. Choose your preferred sake cup and enjoy a tasting tailored to your taste.
